All I need from you to get started is size preference and a great, emailed photograph!
To commission a portrait, please email me a photograph of fairly high resolution. Higher resolutions are needed for people portraits with faces showing. It is important that you send a picture that you would like to have made into a painting. Some pictures work better than others. I will work with you on choosing a picture. I will also work with you regarding style and color as I have created a wide variety of portraits. 
 

I will let you know once I begin your painting.  Once completed I will photograph the painting and email it to you for your approval. At this time, you will have the opportunity to ask me to revisit any areas and I will make minor changes free of charge. Any additional changes after this are $30 an hour with a minimum charge of $30.  No payment is exchanged until the painting has been approved. It is very important to me that I create something that you truly love!

Pricing and Commissioning a Portrait

Commission a Portrait
All that is needed to commission a portrait is a great emailed photograph of fairly high resolution. It is important that you send a picture that you would like to have made into a painting. Some pictures work better than others. I will work with you on choosing a picture. I will also work with you regarding style and color as I have created a wide variety of portraits. 
 

I will let you know once I begin your painting.  Soon after (a week or two) I will photograph the painting and email it to you for your approval. At this time, you will have the opportunity to ask me to revisit any areas and I will make minor changes free of charge. Any additional changes after this are $30 an hour with a minimum charge of $30.  No payment is exchanged until the painting has been approved. Commission a Mural 
The best way to commission a mural is to contact me given the wide range of murals desired. I will work with you to design a mural that best suits your room.

Pricing
Pricing for artwork varies according to project size and complexity. All paintings are created on 3/4" stretched canvas. Pricing estimates for sizes 5" x 7", 8" x 10", 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" are quoted below. Other sizes available. Contact for more information.

$200 for a 5" x 7" single pet portrait
$250 for an 8" x 10" single pet portrait
$300 for an 11" x 14" single pet portrait

$350 for an 16" x 20" single pet portrait
$400 for an 18"x24" single pet portrait 
$450 for an 20"x24" single pet portrait
$500 for an 24"x30" single pet portrait

Embellished Photo Canvases
Package available to Realtors only to give as Closing Gifts. Email me a photo of the home you would like for me to paint and I will order a photo canvas for you and paint over it for you to give as a closing gift to your client. Painting over a photo canvas is less time consuming so prices are lower and turn around time is quicker.

$200 for an 8"x10" embellished photo canvas (frame is extra $60)
$250 for an 11"x14" embellished photo canvas (frame is extra $75)
$300 for a 16"x20" embellished photo canvas (frame is extra $90)

People Portraits
Portraits can be created of single subject (one person) or multiple subjects (mother/child, father/child, siblings, child/pet, etc.) Prices vary according to amount of face showing and whether I create a sketch or a painting.

Custom Framing 

frame with edge and without

I would be happy to create a custom frame for your commissioned work. All frames have an old wood, "rustic" feel and can be painted whatever color your prefer or will be painted (or stained) to match your painting. I make simple frames or frames with an edge. Edged frame a little more expensive.
Due to the nature of the reclaimed wood that I use, slight bowing is expected. Framing is offered for artwork sizes 16"x20" and below.
$45 for a 5" x 7" simple frame ($60 for frame with edge)
$60 for an 8" x 10" simple frame ($75 for frame with edge)
$75 for an 11" x 14" simple frame ($90 for frame with edge)
$125 for a 16" x 20" simple frame ($140 for frame with edge)


I ALSO FRAME PHOTO CANVASES!
I would be happy to frame your favorite photo canvas too! Please get your photo printed on 3/4" stretched canvas and send or get it delivered to me. I can work with some 2" photo canvases. I will create a custom, rustic frame for your special photograph!
